‘Di ibabalik peace talks sa NPA – Teodoro

Hindi ibabalik ang peace talks sa New People’s Army, ayon kay Department of National Defense (DND) Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. sa kabila ng suhestyon ng mga dating negotiator.
Aniya, ang peace talks ay magpapataas lamang sa ipinaglalaban ng NPA “to something legitimate,” na tinawag ni Teodoro bilang ‘unacceptable.’
“I object to any peace talks with the NPA. The Filipinos are at peace. They are the ones disturbing the peace. So, why should we talk to them?” sinabi ni Teodoro.
“They’re committing crimes. Plain and simple. And it’s terrorism. Plain and simple.”
