PH Blu Girls magsasanay sa Japan bago ang World Cup

ANG Philippine Blu Girls ay nakatakda para sa isang matinding training camp sa Japan ngayong buwan bilang paghahanda sa mga paparating na elite tournaments.
Ang Nationals ay nakatakdang sumabak sa WBSC Women’s Softball World Cup Group Stage mula Hulyo 14 hanggang 18 sa Lima, Peru kung saan haharap sila sa isang malakas na grupo na kinabibilangan ng world No. 1 na Japan, No. 3 Puerto Rico, Great Britain, Venezuela at ang host na Peru sa Group C.
Ang torneo ay nagsisilbi ring springboard sa kanilang kampanya sa 2026 Asian Games sa Japan na nakatakdang ganapin mula Setyembre 24 hanggang Oktubre 3.
“For years, the PH Blu Girls have demonstrated what Filipino athletes are capable of when given the opportunity to train, compete and represent the country at the highest level. As they prepare for another World Cup campaign, it is our responsibility to ensure they have the support they need to succeed,” Wika ni Amateur Softball of the Philippines (Asaphil) President Jean Henri Luillier.
“This is a reminder that our work goes beyond sending teams to competitions. It is about investing in their journey, providing meaningful opportunities for development, and standing beside them every step of the way,” dagdag ni Lhuillier, na siya ring CEO ng Cebuana Lhuillier na sumusuporta sa pagsisikap ng team.
Mahalaga ang training camp para sa paghahanda ng Nationals dahil kilala ang Japan bilang isa sa mga powerhouse ng softball sa Asia. Noong nakaraang buwan, nagkaroon sila ng training camp sa Korea. Matagal nang nangingibabaw ang Blu Girls sa Southeast Asian Games at umaasang makagawa ng impact sa rehiyon ng Asia.
